Start the SysInfoTools Backup Exec BKF Repair as an administrator on your computer.
Click the Open Icon from the Taskbar to embed the .bkf file from your system. Press Open.
Select the Standard Mode for fixing minor issues and Advanced Mode to fix the problem when it is severe.
The software also comes up with an option that allows you to scan files either completely or partially.
Once you choose the required options for BKF Repair, click OK to continue further.
Here, you will see a pop-up tab displaying the message: Scanning for the BKF file completed. Click on the OK button.
A proper hierarchical structure loaded containing BKF file items and their sub-attributes. Select the folders to restore. You can also preview the specific folder item details like name and type.
Click on the Save button from the Taskbar to download the backup file into a new one.
Define the Location to save your recovered files by clicking the (...) icon. Also, check the Save Files in Folder Hierarchy option to keep the structure intact.
Lastly, click on the Save File(s) button to start the restoration process at your desired location and then, hit Close.
