Step 1: Install and Run Tool

Start the EDB to PST Converter Tool as an administrator on your system.

Step 2: Add EDB File

Click on the Browse button to add the Exchange EDB file for conversion into PST format.

Step 3: Preview the File Path

Now you can see the path of the file that you have added to the tool.

Step 4: Select EDB Version

In addition, either select Auto-Detect or manually specify the EDB File version for your added file.

Step 5: Recovery Mode

Now, choose the Recovery Mode as per the level of corruption. Check the Handle alignment error in EDB files if required.

Step 6: Snapshot File Option

Now, you can also use this option to Browse Snapshot files. Click on the Next button.

Step 7: Scanning Process

You will receive a confirmation about the completion of the scanning process.

Step 8: Preview the Folder

Now you can preview all the emails that were present on the exchange server or in that EDB file.

Step 9: Save the File

After that, click on the Save button to save the selected EDB file folders.

Step 10: Apply Filters

Choose these options if required:

  • Remove Duplicate Mail: It allows you to exclude similar emails based on To, From, and Subject.
  • Date Range Filter: It will enable you to separate the emails between two date ranges. It offers you multiple options, and choose one as per your requirement.

Step 11: Choose Saving Format

Now, choose the saving format you want. Here, we select the saving format as PST and click on the Next button to proceed further.

Step 12: Define Destination

After that, if you want to create a new PST as a result, then click on the Browse button to select the destination path.

Step 13: Option to Split

Click on the Split PST by User or Split PST File after option to split larger PSTs into small ones. Also, you can manually define the size of the PST file based on MB or GB.

Step 14: Process Completed

Finally, you will find a pop-up showing the message Data Extraction is completed. Click Ok.
