Step 1: Install and Run Tool
Launch the Mac PST File Converter on your PC as an administrator.
Step 2: Select File Option
Choose the Single File option or Multiple File option as per your choice and click Next.
Step 3: Choose File/Folder
Now, click on the Select Files option to select Single/Multiple PST Files or the Select Folder option to add a folder containing PST files.
Step 4: Add Mac PST Files
Now, browse and select the PST files to add from your Mac system. Click Open and then, click Next.
Step 5: Preview and Select Files
Choose the PST files to convert from the tree structure after viewing them in the preview panel. Click Next.
Step 6: Select Saving Format
In the Save As option choose the file format in which you want to convert the PST file. Let’s say, PDF.
Step 7: Apply Filters
Choose any of the following as per your needs:
- Remove Duplicate Mails Based on To, From, Body, Subject, and CC: To exclude similar emails from the folders.
- Save in Same: To keep the original folder the same as the previous one for the new resultant file.
- Maintain Folder Hierarchy: Utilize it to retain the original folder structure of the mailbox.
Step 8: Choose Option for Attachments
The software provides you with these three filters for attachments. However, you can opt for only one filter option.
- Save Attachments Separately: To keep the folder for attachments different from the folder for other data.
- Migrate or Backup Emails without Attachment files: To exclude attachments from the emails and save only the mail data.
- Convert Attachments to PDF: Use it to change the image or other attachments in PDF format.
Step 9: Date Filter
Apply this Date Filter for specific mail migration by providing a start and end date. Click Add to add the period.
Step 10: Naming Convention
Choose this filter option to provide criteria for assigning the name to the new resultant folder.
Step 11: Custom Folder Name
Alternatively, you can opt to provide a unique name for the resultant folder manually.
Step 12: Specify Destination
Click Path to Save to specify the location for saving the new folder. However, it will only work when you uncheck the Save in Same option.
Step 13: Convert PST to PDF on Mac
Lastly, click Convert to save the Mac PST files in the PDF format on your system.
Step 14: Process Completes
Now, click OK after the process is completed. You can also Download Report for this conversion process or choose to Convert Again.
Follow the steps from 1 to 5 and then, continue with the steps below for migration.
Step 6: Select Saving Client
Choose the option Save in Email Client and pick your desired Email Client. Here, we pick Gmail.
Step 7: Sign In Gmail
Click Modern Authentication and enter your Gmail email ID. Click Sign In to authenticate the account.
Step 8: Browser Authentication
Now, you will be redirected to the web browser. Complete authentication and once done, you will receive the message shown below. Close it and move back to the tool.
Step 9: Apply Additional Filters
You can choose the following filters as per your requirements:
- Migrate or Backup Emails without Attachment files: To exclude attachments from the emails and save only the mail data.
- Remove Duplicate Mails Based on To, From, Body, Subject, and CC: To exclude similar emails from the folders.
- Maintain Folder Hierarchy: Utilize it to retain the original folder structure of the mailbox.
Step 10: Select Other Options
Choose these other filters to apply to the output file:
- Date Filter: For specific migration of PST emails based on two date ranges.
- Custom Folder Name: To give a name to the new folder for quick and easy access.
Step 11: Import PST to Gmail
Lastly, click Convert to transfer the PST data into the selected Gmail account.
Step 12: Download Report
Once done, click OK and download the conversion report with the Download Report button.
