Step 1: Install and Run Tool
Install the OST to NSF Converter software and click on the Open button in the menu bar.
Step 2: Add OST File
Select the Exchange OST file from your system by clicking on the Browse (...) button.
Step 3: Open OST File
Now, select the OST file that you wish to convert into NSF format and click on the Open button.
Step 4: Choose Recovery Mode
Below the browse option, in the Recovery Settings option, select the recovery mode: Standard, Advance, or Deep.
Step 5: Check Other Options
You can also see the added OST file details like version and encryption. Additionally, checkbox other options if required. Then, click on the OK button to start the scanning process.
Step 6: Scanning OST Files
In a short duration, scanning will be finished. With this, you need to click on the OK button.
Step 7: Preview and Select OST Files
Now, click on the mailbox items to recover the data from it. Also, you can preview the mailbox item details like From, To, Date/Time, and Message Content.
Step 8: Save OST Data
Select the mailbox items that you want to convert from the preview panel and click on the Save button in the taskbar.
Step 9: Select Items to Save
Further, choose the desired items from the given options that you want to save in NSF format.
Step 10: Date Range Filter
Here, you can save the data according to the Date range for a specific period and migrate emails for that particular time.
Step 11: Specify Destination
Click on the Browse (...) button to specify a location for saving the new NSF file. You can choose to Save in new NSF file or Save in existing NSF File.
Step 12: Choose NSF Format and Save
Lastly, pick either Save item content in Text format or Save item content in HTML format and click OK to convert OST to NSF.
