Install and Run the PDF Unlocker Tool as an administrator on your computer.
Select the Add Files or Add Folder button to browse the PDF files and add to the software.
After selecting PDF files from the system, click the Open button.
If prompted, enter the password of the selected PDF files and click OK to continue.
Here, you will get an instant preview of the files including File Name, Path, Size, Max Pages, and Protection.
Click on the Destination Path button to select the saving location for the new resultant PDF. Click on the Next button to move ahead.
Check the Edit Metadata checkbox to modify the PDF file's properties. If not needed, go ahead.
Check the ‘Save PDF Attachments in Subfolder’ option to download the attachments of the PDF files separately.
Click on Any one of these options:
To add a new password, enter the password in the given “Enter User Password” box.
Choose either of the two: Unlock Only Protected PDF File(s) or Unlock All PDF Files.
Tap on the Unlock button to begin the removal of restrictions from the added PDF files.
After completion of the process, you will get a pop-up displaying: The conversion has been completed. Click OK.
Finally, click on the Download Report button to save the conversion report of PDFs.
