SysinfoTools SQL Database Recovery Tool Software Guide

Step 1: Install and Run Tool

Start the SysinfoTools SQL Database Recovery Tool as an administrator on your computer.

Step 2: Select SQL File

Click on the Open button to browse the SQL database files.

Step 3: Add SQL File

We can add the MS SQL database files (MDF & NDF) in the utility wizard.

Step 4: Recovery Mode

Select the recovery mode from the drop-down list, either Standard or Advanced.

Step 5: Manage Deleted Records

You can also manage your deleted records, or there is also an option to preview the advanced deleted documents.

Step 6: Add Collation Option

Select the Collation option: Auto-Detect or Manual as per your requirements.

Step 7: Specify Destination

After that allocate the directory path for the log file. Click Ok to start scanning.

Step 8: Scanning Files

The software displays you a pop-up: Scanning process completed, click Ok.

Step 9: Preview Data

A tree structure gets loaded on the software wizard at the left panel. Here select the folders you want to restore. You can also preview specific table details.

Step 10: Save SQL Data

Click on the Save SQL Data button to initiate the restoring process.

Step 11: Choose Options to Proceed

The opening tab contains two options to save MS SQL data: SQL Server Database or SQL Server Compatible SQL Scripts.

Step 12: Save in SQL Server Database

The software offers you two different options: Windows Authentication and Server Authentication.

Step 13: Window Authentication

First, we go for Windows Authentication Here, you have to enter the Server Name and Database Name. Or, you can also save it in the existing database.

Step 14: Apply Features

Please enable some other advanced features if required:

  • Export with schema and data:- It allows users to restore recoverable data, including schema.
  • Export with only schema:- You also have a feature to restore only schema from the chosen folders.
  • Save maximum length of column:- It helps users download the column's full size if possible.
  • Save Username with table name:- Also, it offers you an option to download Username with a table name.

Step 15: Test Database Connection

Click on this button to check whether the Database connection is working or not and you will find a pop-up displaying Database Connection established successfully. Click Ok.

Step 16: Alternatively, Select Server Authentication

Secondly, we go for Server Authentication. Here, you have to enter the following details: User Name, Password, Server Name, and Database Name. Or, you can also save it in the existing database.

Step 17: Check Database Connection

Click on the Test Database Connection to establish the proper connection with the server. Click Ok to start the restoring process.

Step 18: Saving Process Completed

Lastly, the saving process is completed. Click on the OK button.

Step 19: Save as Scripts

Opt for the SQL Server Compatible SQL Script option and select the saving location for the output folder. Click OK to start the process.

Finally, the SQL script has been completed for the selected database, and click on the OK button.
